Matthew Paige “Matt” Damon had come into the forefront as an actor/screenwriter in 1997, when “Good Will Hunting” became a highly acclaimed film which won multiple awards. The screenplay was also written by Matt Damon along with distant cousin Ben Affleck, which won them both the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay. Matt Damon is a resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts by birth, but he moved with his family to Newton soon after, only to return back to Cambridge when their parents divorced. He is currently married to Luciana Bozán Barroso whom he met in Miami during the shooting of “Stuck on You”. They live together with their four girls Alexia, Isabella, Gia and Stella (Alexia is the step-daughter of Matt) in Manhattan New York.
